The current server endpoint accepts a Galactre generation request. Calls are fail-closed: a caller-supplied access object is rejected, and a valid IAMC-issued Galactre access token is required in the request header.
POST /api/v1/chat/generate
Send a JSON request containing a versioned request envelope and the user input. The contract defines a request ID, idempotency key, tenant, workload, family, capability, opaque input reference, policy, execution preferences, and routing preferences.
X-Galactre-Access
Supply a short-lived signed access token issued by IAMC. Scopes and tenant/workload identity are verified server-side; they must not be submitted as an access object in the JSON body.
Policy and provider gates
Provider transfer requires approval. Requests are checked before dispatch, and execution can remain unavailable when access, routing, durable idempotency, or provider infrastructure is not configured.
